David Levi - CEO, BSC E.E, MBA Over 25 years in the telecom industry, with vast technical and business experience in ATM, Voice, TDM, SONET/SDH , Ethernet and PON. Prior to Ethernity, David was the founder of Broadlight, ( www.broadlight.com ) a semiconductor company that developed BPON and GPON components and was acquired by Broadcom (BRCM) for $230M. Right before his employment at Broadlight (FY 2000) , David invented the GPON Protocol with two US Patents related to the GPON protocol registered on his name. Prior to this, David was director of product marketing at ECI Telecom's Broadband access division , senior product line manager at RAD data communication responsible for a $50M product line sales, product manager at Tadiran Communication , sales manager at Dynamode Ltd, and served in the IDF as a systems engineer and project manager.

 

Shavit Baruch - VP R&D, MSC E.EOver 22 years in the telecom and datacom industry, with vast technical experience in ATM, Ethernet and SONET/SDH both at the components and system level.Prior to Ethernity Shavit served as Chief Architect at Native Networks, Startup company which develops products for the Metro Ethernet market. Prior to this Shavit has established Crescendo Networks, Startup company enhancing Data Center Applications performance, in 2001. Prior to its venture at Crescendo, Shavit served as R&D Director at ECI Telecom (NASDAQ:ECIL) where he was in charge of development of all Transmission cards of one of the world's most successful broadband systems. Prior to that Shavit worked at Lannet Data Communication (AVAYA) designing, together with Galileo, Ethernet switch on silicon.

 

Dr. Yuval Shavitt - Chief ScientistWith 24 years of academic and industry experience, Dr. Yuval shavitt works as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering at the Tel Aviv University. Yuval is working in the areas of networking and distributed algorithms, and, in particular, in scheduling and routing. Prior to its appointment at Tel Aviv University, Yuval worked at the Networking Center of Lucent, Bell Labs, Holmdel, NJ.

 

Tzlil Peker - Director of Finance, CPATzlil Peker is responsible for all financial and administrative infrastructure of Ethernity Networks Ltd. Tzlil brings to Ethernity over than 15 years experience in financial management, administration and accounting, mainly in the High-Tech sector.Before joining Ethernity, he served in several key financial positions: as a Chief Accountant in IBM Israel group, managing the financial accounting department (annual revenues of US$300M), CFO of Optimedia Ltd, a start-up who specializes in the electronic publishing area and as a Controller in Mercury Interactive (Nasdaq:MERQ), responsible for all financial and accounting matters for Mercury Interactive's Rest-Of-World operations (Asia Pacific, Israel and South Africa).
